Shequita “Kiki” Docken MBA, MSN APRN, FNP-BC
Hi, I'm Kiki Docken!
A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of nursing experience—and a heart deeply rooted in women’s wellness.
I founded Curing Grace Wellness with a purpose bigger than a profession. Inspired by my daughter, Gracelynn Hope, whose brief life planted the seeds of something much greater, this practice was born as a sacred calling to care for women with compassion, clinical excellence, and faith-led intention.
As a military spouse and seasoned nurse practitioner, I’ve spent nearly two decades witnessing how women’s symptoms are often minimized or overlooked — especially when labs come back “normal.” But deep down, you know when something’s off. And I believe you.
At Curing Grace Wellness, I blend evidence-based medicine with a functional, root-cause approach — guided by a deep respect for the body’s design and a belief that healing involves more than prescriptions. It's physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Through virtual visits across five states and home-based care in Florida, I meet women where they are — offering personalized support for hormone balance, weight loss, perimenopause, and beyond.
This is more than a clinic. It’s a mission. Because when women heal, families thrive.

FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
At Curing Grace Wellness, I serve women, their children (and a few good men!) who are ready to dig deeper, ask better questions, and partner in their healing. You might be a great fit if you’re:
Tired of feeling dismissed or told “everything is normal” when you know something’s off
Open to exploring both conventional and functional medicine for root-cause answers
Interested in hormone balance, metabolic health, and whole-person wellness
Willing to participate in your healing journey—whether that’s tracking symptoms, adjusting habits, or making space for grace
You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be ready to begin.
If you’re looking for a quick fix without exploring the “why,” or prefer a one-size-fits-all approach, we might not be the best match—and that’s okay, too.I offer a safe, faith-aligned, judgment-free space where your story is heard, your symptoms are valid, and your care is personalized.
If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, I can’t wait to meet you.

House calls bring compassionate, personalized care right to your doorstep—because sometimes healing feels best at home.
If you're located in the Pensacola, Florida area ( Navarre, Milton, Crestview, Cantonment) I offer in-person home visits for select services like:
Initial and follow up assessments for weight loss or hormone therapy if controlled medication required
Acute visits
Wellness check-ins
Homebound clients
For other reasons, a in-person visit would be need
Here’s how it works:
We’ll confirm your eligibility and service needs ahead of time
You’ll receive a time window and preparation instructions
I arrive with everything needed—no white coats or sterile vibes, just real care in a calm, respectful environment
🛋️ Please make sure you’re home, dressed comfortably, and in a private space where we can talk openly. A pet or cup of tea nearby? Totally welcome.
Visits typically last 30–60 minutes depending on your service
House calls are a beautiful extension of care for those who value convenience, privacy, or a deeper sense of connection.

Virtual visits at Curing Grace Wellness are designed to feel personal, private, and easy. Once you book, you’ll receive a secure link to join your appointment from your phone, tablet, or computer—no apps or logins required.
I currently serve patients in:
Florida, Iowa, Virginia, Arizona, and Colorado
As long as you're physically located in one of these states during your visit, we're good to go.👉 A quick note on virtual visit etiquette:
Please join from a quiet, well-lit, private space (just like you would for an in-person appointment).
Driving, working, or multitasking during your visit can affect the quality and safety of your care—so for your sake, let’s avoid those.
Bring a notebook if you’d like to jot down any takeaways—we’ll cover a lot!
My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported—even through a screen.
-
Curing Grace Wellness is a hybrid practice. That means I work with both insurance (like Medicare) and self-pay options.
Some services may be eligible for insurance billing, while others (like wellness consults or specialty programs) are cash-pay. I’ll always be transparent about costs up front—no surprise bills here.
-
I know life gets busy—especially for moms, caregivers, and professionals. I offer flexible scheduling, including some evening and weekend slots, to make sure care fits into your real life.
Availability varies by week, so check the booking page or reach out directly if you need a special time.
-
Yes! Many of the services at Curing Grace Wellness are eligible for HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) payment.
You can use your HSA/FSA card just like a regular debit card at checkout. I also provide detailed receipts (superbills) if your plan requires documentation for reimbursement
👉 A quick heads up: Coverage can vary depending on your specific HSA/FSA plan. If you’re planning to use it for services like hormone therapy, weight loss care, or specialty labs, I recommend checking with your plan administrator ahead of time just to be sure.
Wellness shouldn’t be confusing—and I’m here to help you make the most of your benefits.
-
Yes—with some boundaries in place to protect both of our time.
You can message me securely through the patient portal for quick clarifications, scheduling questions, or medication follow-ups. For anything new, complex, or requiring more than a brief reply, I’ll ask you to book a visit so I can give you my full attention and support.
Think of the portal like a walkie-talkie, not a lifeline—and we’ll always keep the line open.
-
At Curing Grace Wellness, I blend conventional and functional medicine with nearly 20 years of nursing experience, a strong clinical eye, and a faith-driven heart.
You’re not just a chart number here. I listen deeply. I believe your symptoms. I care about the whole woman—not just the labs, the weight, or the diagnosis.
My goal is to partner with you in real, lasting healing—not just symptom relief. And I’m building a space where compassion, clarity, and Christ-centered care can truly coexist.
If that sounds like what you’ve been praying for, you’re in the right place.
-
Yes—**Curing Grace Wellness is a participating Medicare provider** for eligible services. That means if you’re a Medicare beneficiary, some of your visits and lab work may be billed directly through your plan.
However, certain services—such as weight loss programs, hormone therapy, wellness consults, and functional medicine testing—are not typically covered by Medicare.
👉 If we recommend a service that Medicare doesn’t cover, you’ll be provided with an Advance Beneficiary Notice (ABN). This form explains your options and confirms you understand the cost before anything moves forward.
My goal is to keep your care transparent and your costs predictable, with no surprise bills or confusion.
-
Yes, absolutely! Most of my patients choose to use their insurance for routine lab testing through major labs like LabCorp or Quest.
If you're self-pay or prefer functional/specialty testing, we can also offer deeply discounted lab pricing or direct-to-patient test kits.
-
Yes—this is one of the ways we get to the root cause of what’s going on in your body.
Depending on your symptoms and goals, we may use advanced testing to assess hormone balance, inflammation, nutrient levels, gut health, or metabolic function. We’ll decide together what makes sense for your care.
-
yes, I do offer testosterone therapy—but at this time, it’s only available through house call visits in the Pensacola, FL area.
This is because safe, responsible testosterone care requires:
An in-person evaluation
A physical assessment
Ongoing monitoring for response, safety, and proper injection technique
If you're a male or female patient interested in testosterone therapy and you're local to the area, I’d be happy to explore if it’s the right fit during a home visit.
For virtual patients in other states, I currently do not offer testosterone therapy due to clinical and regulatory requirements.
Thank you for understanding—I’m committed to providing this service with the attention and care it deserves.
-
Yes! While my practice has a strong focus on women’s wellness, I also care for men experiencing symptoms related to hormonal imbalance, weight gain, fatigue, low libido, or mood changes.
I currently offer testosterone therapy for men via in-person house calls only in the Pensacola area, due to clinical safety requirements. Virtual wellness consults and metabolic support are available in all licensed states.
Gentlemen—if something feels off, you’re not alone. Let’s talk about it.
-
Yes, when appropriate, I can refer you for labs, imaging (like ultrasounds or MRIs), or specialty care (such as endocrinology, cardiology, or gastroenterology).
I’m happy to work as part of your broader care team, especially when a collaborative approach can offer you the most complete support.
-
I aim to deliver exceptional, personalized care every time we meet. That said, your payment covers my time, expertise, and clinical services—not guaranteed outcomes or specific lab results.
Because of this, I do not offer refunds for services already rendered. If something feels off or didn’t meet your expectations, I invite you to reach out directly so we can discuss it with care and transparency.
-
Item descOf course—life happens. I totally understand that things come up unexpectedly.
You’re welcome to reschedule or cancel your appointment anytime by using the link in your confirmation email or by reaching out directly.
👉 Please note: To protect my time and ensure fairness to other patients, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or changes.
Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a $50 fee
House calls canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $75 fee, due to travel and prep time
I do my best to be flexible and offer grace when needed—just keep the lines of communication open so we can work together respectfully.
Your time is valuable. So is mine. Let’s honor both.

Curing Grace Wellness is not an emergency room, and some situations require immediate in-person medical attention.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency — such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, signs of stroke, heavy bleeding, or any sudden severe illness — please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department right away.
For urgent but non-life-threatening issues (for example: a new infection, worsening pain, or medication concerns), established patients may contact me through the patient portal during business hours, or you may choose to visit an urgent care center for faster in-person evaluation.
Whether I serve as your primary provider or as part of your wellness/functional medicine team, my role is to support your long-term health needs. In emergencies, the ER is always the safest first step.
